We’ve teamed up with our friends at Taylor’s to offer a special package for Chautauqua! Just $35 gets you a delicious dinner and a delicious show.
Stop by Taylor’s before Chautauqua! and choose from a special three-course prix fixe pre-theater menu:
Start with a garden salad
Then choose from
- Cheese ravioli with spinach and sun dried tomatoes in a cream sauce
- Baked cod with mashed potatoes
- Chicken picatta with mashed potatoes
Finish it off with a piece of yummy chocolate cake.
You have to reserve in advance but you can do so up until 5 PM on Friday, April 8. Reserve by calling MASS MoCA Box Office at 413 662-2111, then press 1. We’ll take care of the rest. (Well everything but the gratuity. Please don’t forget to tip your server generously!)

Gramercy Coming Soon!

We are just delighted to welcome Gramercy Bistro to our campus. As you can see from the above photo, they are very close to opening and it looks beautiful. We’ll post on the blog and facebook as soon as we have the exact opening date.
To get your mouth watering, here are just a few of the things you’ll find on their new menu:
Dinner:
- Sandy’s famous Sweetbreads au Beurre Noir
- Spicy Thai Mussels
- Pan roasted Rainbow Trout with fennel and bell pepper broth, fingerlings, and spicy harissa
- Seared Sea Scallops with southwestern hash & fire roasted poblano sauce
- Rabbit Risotto with winter truffles, mirepoix & leafy greens

Pulled Pork Sandwich
Quiche with Rice and Black Beans
Cuban Plate with Lechon Azado (marinated pulled pork), rice, potaje de frijole (Cuban style black beans) and Y Chimol (a Cuban Pico de Gallo).

Exploring reincarnation

What do The Waypoint and PB & J have in common? In North Adams next weekend they are both about reincarnation. Say what?
In conjunction with Saturday’s production of The Waypoint — a play which takes reincarnation as its theme and which began its life as part of the Bazaar Production’s EarlyStages program at the Berkshire Fringe — our neighbor The Porches is offering a special “Get-a-Waypoint” package which includes overnight acomodations, dinner with a special “reincarnation” menu created by Red Lion Inn chef Brian Alberg, two tickets to the performance, and breakfast on Sunday morning. New website for Lickety Split

Our dear friends Tom and Cathy Ralys who run Lickety Split in the MASS MoCA lobby now have a website! You can check their cafe and catering menus (they offer excellent, very affordable catering options) and learn more about them and about Herrell’s ice cream. Check it out.
