From Facebook:
Kristine Covello Bechard a blissful and rocking weekend at the same time. awesome venue. welcoming town. strangers who feel like friends. and one amazing band. thank you all.
Garrett Lechowski I’ve been to hundreds of concerts in the last 30 years. MASS MOCA is, by far, the BEST venue I have ever been to…end story.
Mark Kennedy We (my wife and our two teenage daughters) drove down from Halton Hills, Ontario and had a weekend for the ages…Mass MoCA we will visit again (and again). Wilco, we will go anywhere you lead. But lead us back to North Adams again next year, ok?
Nina Keneally We came as a family too. Parents from CT, artists from Bushwick! We always love MassMoCA and visit whenever we can but this was extraordinary. Please, sir, may we have some more?
Dar Tavernier-Singer Could that have gone any better? Been any more fun? Been in a more beautiful place? I think not! Great art, great music & great venue. Thank you, thank you for a fantastic time.
Jeff Cook Amazing location, outstanding people and the most beautiful music in the world. What more could one ask for? Thank you Mass MoCA for hosting this event!
Excerpts From E-mail:
“Wow! Just wanted to drop a note to say great job to you and your staff, and to the city of N Adams. You took a big risk and it paid off huge. The festival was well thought out. Myself and my son had a weekend of memories that will last a lifetime. I can’t think of a thing you could have done better.”
“I just wanted to thank Mass MoCA for running the most organized music festival I’ve ever attended.  It was a wonderful experience for our whole family, and we will definitely be back to North Adams to spend more time.  Your volunteers and staff were unusually friendly and helpful – the weekend definitely exceeded all expectations I had for what would happen when so many people descended on your town!”
“You rock! We had the BEST weekend ever. It was evident how much you put into this whole event. It was incredible. So many great musicians. Everyone who worked there couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. The grounds and set up were gorgeous and clean. And we noticed every extra detail you labored over. Thanks so much.”
“I attended the Solid Sound Festival this past weekend and I just wanted to send a quick note to let you know how much I (and my friends) thoroughly enjoyed it. It was an absolute delight.. The bands, the galleries, the venue, the food, EVERYTHING, was absolutely fantastic. Could not have been better! It was my first visit to the Mass MoCA and it certainly lived up to my expectations. I was blown away by the innovation and quality of the grounds and the galleries.”
Thanks to everyone who helped us make the Solid Sound Festival run so smoothly!
Cheers,
Brittany
