Just doing our job

We were so delighted to receive this email from a Laura Cohen who lives in the Albany area:

I attended the incredible Steve Reich concert on July 25. I’ve been listening to Reich’s music for 30 years, but never had a chance to attend a live concert. The concert you presented was incredible! I still can’t believe that the young performers were able to put together that concert in only 1 1/2 weeks. A miracle! The music is very difficult to perform. It’s a tribute to the talents of these musicians that they were able to pull it off. I’m so impressed, and so grateful to have witnessed it. Music for 18 Musicians is probably my favorite composition in the world, and I’m so grateful that MASS MoCA included this piece in the program. This was the happiest musical experience of my life. Thank you so much!

What’s the happiest musical experience of your life?  We hope it was at MASS MoCA.
