Director of Good Ol’ Charles Schulz, David Van Taylor, recently made a trip to MASS MoCAÂ to screen his film and explore the galleries with his family. After his visit he had this to share:
It was great to screen GOOD OL’ CHARLES SCHULZ at MASS MoCA. The screening space is funky and commodious. The performing arts staff including Sue (Managing Director of Performing Arts), Meghan (Company Manager) and Meredith (Assistant to the Managing Director of PA) treated us like real artists–something documentary filmmakers don’t always get.  The audience was great and diverse (some Linuses, some Snoopies, a Pig Pen and even a Woodstock) and we had a lively discussion after the screening.
And perhaps best of all is that little museum you have going there. Ali and I and our two boys (ages 5 and 1 3/4) spent hours seeing and interacting with the art. As you can see, it was a blast.
