MASS MoCA tenant Storey Publishing, a company with over 50 employees occupying MASS MoCA’s Building 2, has gotten some recent notice in the book publishing world with news of its first foray into the memoir category, a forthcoming book titled Made from Scratch: Discovering the Pleasures of a Hand-Made Life, by farmer/blogger Jenna Woginrich. Her entertaining blog on life in rural Vermont — with all the chickens, rabbits, and geese you would expect — is at coldantlerfarm.blogspot.com.
And while we’re touting Storey, we have to add that the internet’s favorite knitter — Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, aka the Yarn Harlot — is also a Storey author with a blog read by tens of thousands of knitting enthusiasts worldwide. We hope they’ll all make the pilgrimage to MASS MoCA to see where the Yarn Harlot’s books are lovingly edited by our friends at Storey.
Also don’t miss the Storey Country Fair and Book Sale taking place on Saturday, August 23, from 10 AM – 4 PM in the MASS MoCA courtyard.
